Dr. Jacobs giving a speechWhen individuals include Oregon Health & Science University Foundation or Doernbecher Children's Hospital in their estate plan, they help to ensure that we can continue our mission for years to come. We invite you to join today!

The Sam Jackson Guild honors individuals who have established deferred gift plans benefiting Oregon Health and Science University through the OHSU Foundation. The guild is named in honor of Charles Samuel Jackson, whose family donated most of the land that is now the OHSU campus. Jackson was the founding publisher of The Portland Journal and a widely respected humanitarian.

The Frank Doernbecher Guild honors individuals who have established gift plans benefiting OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The guild is named in honor of Frank S. Doernbecher, who in 1921 left $200,000 through his will to benefit the people of Oregon. The Doernbechers were convinced of the need for a special hospital to serve needy children under the care and supervision of the University of Oregon Medical School.
